"Work" generally used to mean that you put in an honest day's effort and were rewarded with fair and reasonable compensation and all other issues were resolved on the basis of good faith and trust. While these concepts are still the foundation of a good working relationship, the advances in technology, the advent of collective bargaining, split or shared work roles, contracts and the overall speed at which commerce proceeds in modern times have changed the face of the working relationship as we know it. Now both employers and employees must be much more flexible and in tune with legislative and business practices that directly and materially affect and influence the workplace. Legal issues are necessarily a part of that process.

We act for both workers and management and have done so at every level of Alberta courts and also at arbitrations and adjudications. We have provided competent legal counsel and draftsmanship of documents, pertaining to virtually every aspect of the working relationship and therefore are very familiar with the complex and often frustrating maze of legislation, regulation and business activities.
