Planes, trains and automobiles" are words from a popular song. Add light, power, water, gas and sewer services, resource and waste management, as well as planning and human resources. Provide for the election of officials on a regular basis and cover the entire mixture with a thick coating of legislation and regulation. That pretty accurately describes the area of municipal law and the difficult and often confusing maze of rules and regulations that interested and affected persons are confronted with when dealing with community issues.

We act for many levels of community government and have appeared in all Alberta courts on behalf of government citizens with respect to these issues. We have also appeared before planning commissions and boards, waste and resource management authorities, and councils to present the case for taxpayers, developers and regular citizens impacted by the process and the decisions that are made.
