R. Philip M. North, Q.C.

    Phil was born in Deloraine, Manitoba, attended Brandon College and the University of Manitoba. Phil originally developed the Blairmore and Pincher Creek branch offices and is now the Managing Partner of the firm. He has served the profession and community extensively, including being a Bencher of the Law Society, Chairman of the Alberta Law Foundation, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the University of Lethbridge, President of the Lethbridge Rotary Club, Chair of the Alberta Legal Education Society, Chair of the Lions Eye Bank (Alberta) Society and is a Member of the Community Foundation of Canada. In the spring of 2004, Phil was awarded a honourary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Lethbridge. Phil and Freda have three children and Phil's outside interest include hockey and gardening.
